Decker & Son Square Grand # 139

I have this piano in to refinish it for a fellow piano rebuilder.  This piano will be refinished as close to its natural color as possible.  It will be returned to my friend that is contracted to rebuild it to be finished.  This piano will also get a digital player mechanism installed as well.  As you can see here I decided to chemically remove the old finish from the legs.  Its very time consuming to hand strip detailed pieces like this. Here are the legs drying after being removed from the vat.
