Currently doing a refinish job on this late 1800s piano. You can always tell that redecorating was in a piano's past during the 1950s or 1960s when you see the baby blue here or even lime green. There is a wonderful African cherry veneer under this paint. I have to confess I am pretty well along in the restoration process but figured Id post anyway so here goes. The customer requested the pianos original red color so that's what I am doing. It's a shame that some of the blue is stuck in the grain but most of that will remain hidden.https://youtu.be/LnRIAUdUCv4Getting the block sanding done for a mirror slick finish. All finished with satin clear coat. This piano is going to be a knockout when put back together. The company Im doing this for will be reassembling and delivering in a few days.
