From George Washington to Barack Obama, only 2 of our presidents have played the piano. Our 33rd president, Harry S. Truman, was a committed pianist. He would wake up at 5:00 am just to practice. Many believed he was a good piano player, but, he doubted himself and said that since he wasn't good enough was the reason why he became president. He wished he was a better musician because he loved it dearly. In 1945 Truman played for women at the county fair and reminded them of the time when he played the song while Stalin signed the Potsdam agreement.

Our 37th president (Richard Nixon) played the piano well and was confident about it. There are many videos and pictures of him playing many songs. The one below is Nixon playing his 1st Concerto. He also played 'God Bless America' at the Grand Ole Opry in 1974.[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCsGSMze_6Q]Want to know more?
