Baldwin - Liberace

Have you ever heard of Liberace? If no, its time you did! His real name is actually Wladziu Valentino Liberace which translates to Walter in English.Liberace at one time owned a whopping 39 pianos! All of his pianos were Baldwin and he was signed under a contract with Baldwin Piano Co. in 1948.He performed at many place likes hotels(such as the Riviera), Madison Square Garden in New York, and at Radio City Music Hall. He also made a guest appearance on the Oprah Winfrey show on December 25, 1986!Liberace also had a custom made piano. The piano sparkled in the spotlight.It was customized with 125 pounds of Austrian rhinestones!Want to know more?
