Mehlin Victorian Vertical #154 Atlanta (Stringing)

So nows the time to do the stringing prep.  This includes polishing the pressure bars, removing the old felt, cleaning those areas, cutting new felt, and applying.   Usually around this time I pull out my stringing scale book and find the correct scale for the piano Im stringing but this one has the scale  handwritten on the plate which is fabulous.  I have all the treble wire here.  Im still waiting on the bass strings.Will finish all stringing today. The keys with the new Viagas tops and new keybushings should be here by weeks end.Just having a little fun with the camera.Here are some pictures of the new key bushings being installed. These will make the keyboard feel many times better than it did prior to the restoration when playing.
